I'm a photographic artist based in, Sydney.
Once upon a time, a camera was a mystery to me. At school, I took endless shots with my 35m camera (I am sure my friends thank me for that!) but then I met someone who had a 'proper' camera and I was instantly entranced.

I remember him telling me whilst I was wildly wasting his film, that if I just took the shot from this angle, it might look like this...

And then I was addicted. Simply by changing angles, you could change the entire engagement or feel of an image... You could convey something totally unique to the viewer. My mind was totally blown.

I took a beautiful shot of my newborn son lying on the sofa in my cottage, in our village, just outside London. The lighting was perfect. The focus divine. It felt almost accidental, as if all the gods had come together at the same time and bestowed this incredible thing upon me.
Wow, I thought. I made this collection of tech produce that!
Amazing! I wondered if I could do it again? (The photograph, not the baby. He's an adult now.)
So I did.

There's no end within photography, because this is like saying there is an end to creativity... and if you are creative, you'll be laughing at that right now. There's no end to the different hues of light, how darkness can pull that light from your lens or how you can manipulate both those things together, at the same time and master something sublime.
